2024 Yellow Cargo
Inspired by the architecture of the Meatpacking District, a key area of New York's urban regeneration project, the first floor has a modern feel, while the second floor has a concept reminiscent of an ancient cave, creating contrasting environments in one bulding.
The entrance is designed to resemble a freezer, featuring a yellow filtered a butcher shop window, cargo container inspired counter and frozen goods display. All set within a room connected with metal structure elements.

The centerpiece of the restaurant area is a large yellow volume. It’s a translucent cargo container featuring inside a linear layered installation in a shape of a cow. The box glows in a black interior, resembling intese light of the heated grill.

The second floor takes inspiration from an ancient cave, contrasting with the cold, modern vibe of the first floor. Featuring a ceiling graphic that echoes prehistoric rock art and inviting visitors to an open space with tables gathered around the void.
A natural mix of beige and terracotta tones captures the soft feeling of sand on the ceiling and rustic bricks. From the open space, pathways lead into smaller, more intimate rooms, for a private dining experience.
